The Presentation of the CoE Detailed Business Model to the Representatives of Programme Executing Agency (PEA)

On February 2, the presentation of the detailed business model of the Center of Excellence was presented at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mr. Valerian Gobronidze and the representatives of the program executing agency, namely the Vocational Education Development Department, Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency (ESIDA) and Skills Agency were briefed by the project team on the main features of the CoE business model plan.

The key aspects of the business model and implementation modalities were discussed by project core team. CoE recommended governance options, occupational profiles, CoE Network partners selection status, HR strategies and financial modelling framework were presented at the meeting as well as preliminary design report by the architectural team.

The representatives of the program executing agency gave their feedback and recommendations on discussed topic. It was agreed to continue detailed discussion on each topic at the technical working group meetings, particularly the legal options for establishment of CoE and the recommended CoE network partner in the ecosystem of TVET excellence. The project will continue to enhance communication in the coming period to ensure favourable support for the implementation of the proposed business model in approved timeframe.
